Super trouper

Part of the reason for my lack of blogging is my concern not to over do Peaches' on-line presence. She's not a voting shareholder and it's easy to overshare.

On the other hand, she was cast as Mary in the nursery nativity. Even though we are now into January, I think it's not too late to brag.

Clearly she's a star. She was very sweet, cuddling of the baby Jesus and kissing him on the head. She sang loudly to all the songs and beamed with pride at the end of the show.

After that Christmas went a bit down hill as I got the flu and Recaro and Peaches caught colds. All grandparent visits were cancelled and we stayed home, cosying up to each other around the fire. It was a very strange, muted celebration.

Happily, the new year is looking brighter and healthier - and with more blogging.

Aw! I already knew she was a star. Happy New Year to you and your family!

PS - I stopped blogging at Reluctant Housewife for similar reasons. My boys are getting big and I feel their stories are no longer mine to share. Oh well... Time marches on.

Been wondering what you've been up to!

Definitely worth bragging about Peaches being Mary, and what a lovely memory.

Sorry Christmas was a bit muted, but maybe you could make up for it in Spring with a special weekend celebration?

Good to have you back!
